Jessie’s belly goes viral!

August 2019

The paediatric cardiology team asked us to train one of the dogs to have her belly scanned so that pictures could be taken to add to the image library we have created at the hospital. Children were finding the whole process of lying still and having their chests scanned a bit daunting so with the help of Jessie we had these pictures taken and when they were shared on twitter it went viral!

Who knew an image of a dog pretending to have a paediatric cardiology scan could help children and make so many people smile across Twitter too!

Yahoo Australia heard about it, contacted us and wrote an article!
